Our Leadership

Russ Schwalbe has been in the investigative arena for over 25 years. His years of expertise and skills have culminated in the establishment of SiG of Florida.

He began his career in retail management focusing on loss prevention and quickly progressed into undercover narcotics investigations focusing on individuals suspected of the sale and/or use of narcotics, theft, and other illegal activities in the workplace. 

Schwalbe advanced into workers' compensation, liability, and auto claims, traveling extensively throughout the southeastern United States for a national investigation firm. He continued to hoan his investigative skills and handle the most difficult investigations while training and managing large teams of investigators.  The territories managed consistently exceeded performance standards and fiduciary goals.  

Schwalbe has twice played an integral role in the development and growth of start-up firms with 100+ employees, with his last role being Senior Vice President of Operations of a national firm where he was responsible for the oversite of all investigations, as well as investigative compliance, client satisfaction, policy and protocol development, recruitment, and training.  

Schwalbe graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. Along with holding a valid State of Florida Private Investigator’s C license, Schwalbe has also earned his All Lines 520 Adjuster’s license from the State of Florida and is a certifed Process Server for the 9th Judicial District in Central Florida.
